The Louisiana Office of Tourism, the Louisiana Office of Cultural Development, the Louisiana Seafood Marketing and Promotion Board, New Orleans & Company, and Visit Mississippi banded together to host The Gold Record Road: Celebrating the 2026 Grammy Nominees from Louisiana and Mississippi at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. The cultural tribute staged on January 31 honored the southern highways, communities, and creative voices that helped shape the foundation of American music. The annual event featured performances by the New Breed Brass Band with Trombone Shorty, Kyle Roussel and Jamal Roberts.
